The panelists will discuss the latest digital trends and market growth and the best ways to engage and build a digital audience. You will hear tips on marketing tactics, pricing strategies, retention, and audience growth across digital newsstands.

Thea Selby
Thea SelbyThea is a Principal at Next Steps Marketing, where she supervises digital publication creation, directs audience marketing efforts and creates outreach programs for non-profit and governmental agencies. Thea was the CEO of Light Green Media, and managed the investment strategy and advertising for the flagship digital publication, greenlight-digital.com. When not at Next Steps Marketing, she puts these skills to use working with others to create a safe and thriving San Francisco. Thea is a co-founder of EWIP. Thea holds an MBA from the University of Oregon and A.B. from the University of California at Berkeley.

Lisa Radler
Lisa RadlerAs the director of consumer marketing, Radler plays a key role in driving consumer revenue efforts for all print and digital products across Future US’s games, technology, and special-interest properties. Since joining Future US in August 2008, she has held several management-level positions as director of consumer marketing operations and director of eCommerce and fulfillment. Her leadership has helped drive business growth through identifying consumer insights to ultimately developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies for creating and expanding revenue.

Prior to joining Future US, Lisa brought with her an extensive wealth of knowledge and experience from International Data Group where she was the Director of Retention Marketing. She was responsible for driving strategies and implementing marketing initiatives to engage and retain existing customers for three national publications, including PC World, Macworld and GramePro. She also successfully launched the Macworld eCommerce site which became a significant revenue stream.
 
Lisa has won a number of honors and awards including World Class Award Winner: PC World, Macworld & GamePro and Certificate of Achievement from the United States Media Management Institute. She also won Annual Circulation Direct Marketing Awards including Gold Award Winner for PC World magazine and Silver Award Winner for PC World magazine.  Lisa was just named one of the 2013 Audience Development All-Stars . Lisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from San Diego State University.

    I am the Executive Director for Girls Inc. of West Contra Costa County. We are planning to introduce our middle school girls to producing a digital magazine that reflects who they are. We offer a Media Literacy program that informs them of stereotypes of women and girls portrayed in media. Would you consider offering a complimentary ticket in order for us to learn more on this process?
