Progressive Women’s Voices is a media and leadership training program for women that has become a cornerstone of the Women’s Media Center graduating over 80 women from the program since 2008. The program prepares women to be effective thought-leaders willing to serve as a strong progressive voice in the media.
Progressive feminists who are communicators with the willingness and desire to promote yourself and speak on important questions may apply now. The first 2011 class will be held in New York City, July 14-18. Ten women from around the country will be selected in a competitive application process. Travel, accommodations, and training expenses are paid for, so apply now! The deadline is May 7, 2011.
