MAGGIE Awards: Deadline Jan. 20 for publishing competition

Deadline for MAGGIE entries: January 20, 2017



Can you believe it’ll be 66 years? The MAGGIE Awards from the Western Publishing Association (WPA) is looking to honor the “The Best in the West” in a wide variety of publishing categories.

The 2016 winners included periodicals such as Recoil, Orange Coast and Sonoma, as well as standout articles such as “The War on Sex Trafficking is the New War on Drugs” (Reason), “Gone Hiking” (Backpacker) and “How to Sail Off Into the Sunset” (Coast).
